ABOUT HOPE LUTHERAN PRESCHOOL
Hope Preschool offers a place where Jesus is a part of everyday life. It is a place where children are treated with love and respect. We offer families a warm, nurturing environment that hopefully carries over to home, work and the community.
OUR STAFF
We have a well-qualified staff that gives loving encouragement and enthusiastically guides the children into becoming caring, growing Christians.
CURRICULUM
We have a well-balanced curriculum that helps to develop creativity, language, reading, readiness and other developmentally appropriate activities and experience. We believe that preschool children learn best through a variety of methods. We provide this opportunity through various approaches in our school program. The children are given time to explore and manipulate a variety of educational materials. This is a hands-on approach that offers children challenges and discovery. The children interact with each other throughout the day to help them build warm relationships. Children have their own unique approach to learning and should be given opportunities to reach their maximum potential.
CHAPEL TIME
Chapel service is once a week with daily class devotions. Chapel time is designed with young children in mind. We seek to nurture in children a solid base upon with their faith will grow and mature. We affirm that an important part of our responsibility is to direct young children toward a life in Jesus Christ. We believe that providing an education integrated with Christian teachings will help these goals to be reached.
FAMILY INVOLVEMENT
The family is the most important factor in building a child's self-esteem and how they build relationships with other people. We encourage partents to become involved in the school by volunteering in class or by organizing events at school throughout the year.
BEFORE & AFTER CARE
Before and after school care is available. Mornings from 7:00 am until 9:00 am and afternoons from 12:30 pm until 6:00 pm. It is the families responsibility to provide a healthy lunch and drink.
